Legal advice to obtain citizenship
If you are looking for legal representation to obtain U.S. citizenship consult your case with the team of Duque, Kelley and Associates, immigration attorneys, by calling at
Obtaining U.S. Citizenship
Being a U.S. citizen will give you privileges such as the right to vote in presidential elections, or having a U.S. passport. You can sponsor your immediate relatives: parents, spouses and minor unmarried children, to obtain U.S. lawful permanent resident status without waiting for a visa, among many other benefits.
If you have been a lawful permanent resident for at least five years and also meet some important additional requirements, you may be eligible for U.S. citizenship.
At DUQUE, KELLEY AND ASSOCIATES, PLLC, we help you to prepare a solid application to ensure that it is granted quickly and fairly.
If you have obstacles that could stand in the way of becoming a U.S. citizen, such as criminal convictions or having spent too much time outside the U.S., we, as immigration attorneys, can analyze these problems and create strategies to help you overcome any adverse factors in your application.
CITIZENSHIP THROUGH PARENTS
There are two general ways to obtain citizenship through parents who are U.S. citizens: one at birth and one after birth, but before 18 years old.
Our immigration attorneys have extensive experience in this area and can help you to apply for a Certificate of Citizenship, a U.S. Passport, or, for foreign-born children, a Consulate Report of Birth Abroad.
